CORPORATE GOVERNANCE

Our adherence to a documented quality plan, outlining process and product objectives, has earned approval from BSI to comply with ISO9001 standards.

Significant investment in new plant and equipment plays a pivotal role in facilitating continuous enhancements in quality. The risk of errors during the transition from design to manufacture is markedly reduced through the utilization of digital data flows from our CAD system and our advanced automatic manufacturing equipment, capable of consistently achieving high-quality standards in forming and assembling components.

Each new product undergoes rigorous pre-production testing in our specialized electrical and mechanical test facility, which also conducts routine checks during the manufacturing process.

The attainment of numerous international safety approvals serves as tangible evidence of AMP CONNECT's enduring commitment to quality and the global market.

The introduction of European Directives has imposed environmental responsibilities on manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment. The RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) regulation (Directive 95/2002/EC), enforced since July 2006, and the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) regulation (Directive 96/2002/EC), signify this shift.

The RoHS directive effectively prohibits the usage of specific chemicals, including lead, cadmium, mercury, hexavalent chromium, Polybrominated Biphenyl (PBB), and Polybrominated Diphenyl Ether (PBDE), which serve as flame retardants, including Deca BDE. Measures have been implemented to ensure compliance of all standard products with the requirements of this directive, with packaging carrying RoHS compliance information for confirmation.
